Christian Yelich

Christian Yelich was a second-team All-American coming out of high school in Thousand Oaks, California. The Florida Marlins selected him with the 23rd selection in the 2010 baseball amateur draft. Yelich's career took off when he was included in a four-player trade at the end of the 2017 season that sent him from the southern tip of Florida to the northern state of Wisconsin to play for the Milwaukee Brewers. Christian Yelich examines his early career as well as his first two All-Star seasons with the Brewers. He earned National League (NL) MVP honors for the 2018 MLB season and was also the NL batting champion. Each book in the Ballpark Greats: Pro Baseball's Best Players series gives you the reader a close-up look at some of the very best of today's Major League Baseball stars. The statistical leaders and championship winners go under the spotlight in a fun to read and visually interesting examination of the player's outstanding career.
