Lion Trackers

On this math mission, readers will track a pride of lions across the Serengeti. They'll load up the Jeep and use the x and y coordinates on the map to find where another team last spotted the lions. The Serengeti is a beautiful and dangerous place. To determine the necessary supplies and fully appreciate the landscape and various animals that inhabit it, readers will learn how to write and interpret numerical expressions and analyze patterns.
